Mushroom season in Switzerland
In spring, morels come first. From June, chanterelles follow, then in late summer and autumn porcini, parasols, hedgehog mushrooms and horns of plenty, until the trumpet chanterelles before the frost. On the Plateau and in Ticino the season starts earlier, in the Alps often weeks later.
Weather decides: after heavy rain and warm, humid days, mushrooms often appear one to two weeks later. After heat and drought, the forest stays empty. That is exactly what Waldschatzfinder calculates for your location.
